Sneak Preview of New Dog Cafe.

Jazz, Dixie and I had a sneak preview of a new dog cafe that will open next Sunday. They let us in today for a coffee and bit of a play around. We will have to go back when they are up and running.

Back to the Best Dog Run!

Yesterday we hired a car and Shin drove us back to the beautiful spacious grass dog run that we visited about 3 weeks ago. It was a little overcast but again Jazz and Dixie had great fun running around with each other and some new doggy friends. It seemed like it was double day as everyone who came to the dog run while we were there came with pairs of the same dog, ie two King Charles Spaniels, two Golden Retrievers, two Dachshunds, two Border Collies and our two Beagles. We were lucky to get there early enough to miss the rain which set in after we left.
Another good day.

Wrestling Match!

These days Jazz gets very little peace! Dixie just loves to wrestle with Jazz, jump on her and run circles around her. Even though Jazz looks quite scary in these pics she is still very patient with Dixie.

Dixie Joins Jazz at School

Jazz and Dixie are at school today (Dog Inc.). Here a few snaps of Dixie on her first day (last Thursday). She enjoyed herself very much. Im not sure Jazz enjoyed sitting on her head! But thats Dixie, she loves Jazz and doesn't give her a moments peace.

More T-Shirts!!!!

Daddy bought the girls another T-Shirt each. Dixie is indifferent to wearing it but Jazz is not happy about wearing one. Jazz hasnt really worn anything but a raincoat in winter and is less than pleased about Daddy's new presents!

Daddy's Birthday

August 28th was Daddy's Birthday. We all went to an Italian restaurant with a dog friendly terrace. Both Jazz and Dixie enjoyed the evening.

Dixie's First Holiday!

Dixie had a great time on her first holiday with her new family. On Friday we took the girls to the beautiful dog run mentioned below then went on to check into our dog friendly accomodation. It came complete with everything we could need for our dogs, bowls, pee mats, cage etc. Jazz and Dixie were free to wonder about the spacious apartment. On Saturday we checked out "Dog Forest", another dog run in the area. It wasn't as nice but Jazz and Dixie doned their "coolbiz" T-shirts and went off to explore.

Best Dog Run Ever!!

On the way to Atami we stopped in at "Dog Field Gashukoku", the best kept green grass dog run that we have been to. It was huge and fortunately for us we were the only ones there! Jazz and Dixie were so excited chasing a ball and running around at top speed!! It got quite warm so we wet their new cooling T-shirts and put them on. They seemed to keep the girls cool and going! This is the best dog run ever and we will definately make the effort to go back.

Jazz's First Day Back at School

Jazz went off to school today after the summer holidays. She was very happy to see Masae and leave her little sister at home. Dixie is at home with Mummy today and currently sleeping in one of her favourite spots - under the coffee table!

First T-Shirts!!

This weekend we are going away for a "Doggy Weekend". Its quite hot so Daddy bought the girls their first T-shirts which are supposed to keep the dogs cool. Jazz was not at all impressed with hers. Dixie just tried to chew hers!

Jazz has a Shadow!

Dixie just loves her big sister, Jazz. This is how I found the two of them after I got out of the shower. Dixie tends to follow Jazz around and do what she's doing. Jazz is a great babysitter! After this photo Jazz got up and moved to the living room closely followed by Dixie!

The Girls Love Dog Gum!

It seems that Jazzie is well again and has a renewed interest in chewing Dog Gum. Before we got Dixie, Jazz had gone off Dog Gum but now as I give it to Dixe, Jazz demands her share too. Often she swipes Dixie's so now I have to give them one each.

Poor Jazz is Sick!

Jazz wasn't feeling very well yesterday and her condition got worse today so we had to take her back to the vet. She was put on a drip today and when we went to pick her up she was very happy to see us. She was also very happy to be back at home and is currently recovering in her own bed.

Dixie's First Solo Walk

Jazz is not well today and could not go out for her regular afternoon walk. So Dixie ventured out for her first solo walk! At first she kept looking behind expecting her big sister to be following along as usual but then she got used to walking alone and did so quite well. She even had time for a pee between all the sniffing!

Jazz and Dixie are getting along well now.

With time Jazz has learnt to accept Dixie and they seem to be getting along. I hope that they will grow up to be great buddies.

Jazz and Dixie were good girls for Daddy who babysat last night!

Toys, Toys Everywhere!!!

Dixie was quick to find Jazz's Toy Box and drag almost all the toys out into the living room to play with them. At first Jazz was a little possesive of some of her favourite toys but now she has given up! Jazz looks on as things get messier, occasionally joining the craziness. We have to teach Dixie to put all the toys away after she has finished playing with them!!

Jazz and Dixie Share the Couch!

Dixie learnt quickly how to jump up onto the couch. Now Jazz has no place to escape to. While on the computer today I noticed that everything was very quiet in the house!! I looked up to find that Jazz was actually sharing valued couch space with her little sister, Dixie. Good girls!

Dixie's Dog Run Debut

Dixie tries out the Komazawa Park Dog Run with her sister Jazz and meets some new friends. Jazz was a little jealous of all the attention that Dixie was getting, but the Dog Group members that have known Jazz for a long time gave her some extra attention and she was happy.
